35 Point Installation of the new PC(s)/Laptops(s) as follows: 1. Unpacking of equipment and checking for any issues with the order. 2. Assembly of components or/and any additional items purchased. 3. Installation of the latest software drivers for all external peripheral hardware equipment that the client already has. Example your current printers, scanners, broadband routers-modems, mobile phones, etc. Please drop us an email and let us know the make and model of any equipment you have at home that you would like us to install which the client may already have. Install one at a time and re-boot after each installation. 4. Installation of any new hardware purchased at the same time as the computer. Example: Printers, Fax Machines, Scanners, Displays, Modems, Cameras, Projectors, Phones, etc) that were purchased at the same items as the computer. 5. Installation of all System and Utility CD Programs that were shipped with the PC 6. Installation of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook Email, PowerPoint, Access, One Note, etc) which was either purchased with the computer or supplied by the client. 7. Running Microsoft Updates & Security Patches on MS Office 8. Installation of all other individual Software Applications that were purchased in addition to the PC. Install one at a time and re-boot before you install the next update 9. Installation of FREE Adobe Acrobat 10. Installation of AntiVirus Software 11. Updating the AntiVirus software so that it recognises the latest viruses 12. Configuring the AntiVirus so that it updates itself automatically in the future 13. Configuring the AntiVirus so that it scans the computer once per week. 14. Installation of AntiSpyWare Software 15. Updating the AntiSpyware software so that it recognises the latest SpyWare. 16. Configuring the AntiSpyware so that it updates itself automatically in the future. 17. Configuring the AntiSpyware so that it scans the PC once per week. 18. Removal of all the Promotional Applications. 19. Turn on or Install a Firewall. 20. Updating the FireWall software so that it has the latest product updates installed. 21. Configuring the FireWall so that it updates itself automatically in the future. 22. Updating and Patching of the Microsoft Windows Operating System. Install one at a time, if there is more than one available and re-boot before you install the next update 23. Updating and Patching all other software programs & software device drivers with their manufacturers latest updates from the manufacturers internet sites. 24. Configure Internet access including Dial-up, and Broadband. 25. Setup of an Email Account if required or if the client. 26. Setup an Administrative Account and a Password for same 27. Create New User Accounts for who ever will be using the computer and a Password each. Please drop is an email with the name and spelling of the person who will be using the computer. 28. Turn Off Unnecessary Windows Services to help eliminate security risks and to help speed up the system. 29. Establish a System Restore Point which can be used in case the computer becomes corrupt, etc. 30. Install and Configure a Broadband router if required, if either purchased separately of if the client already has one in the premises and install software for same. 31. Defragment hard drive after all Applications have been installed and unwanted software removed. 32. Fill in and submit all warranty documentation for each device on behalf of the customer, including any additional/extra warranty documentation. 33. Show the client how to use any parts of the computer hardware that they might not be familiar with. 34. Document the computer serial number on the invoice for warranty or theft purposes. 35. Compare all items to the delivery note and ensure everything is ready for collection.
